2012-2013 Season Preview

Though J.S. Bach's concertos are among the very first for the keyboard, they still remain among the most popular. Joined by a stellar cast of CMS artists, Jeremy Denk brings his impeccable artistry to six brilliant masterworks.

A treasure of delights fills this season's Baroque Collection, from Bach's magnificent Trio Sonata from the Musical Offering, to Heinrich Böddecher's little-known Sonata sopra la monica, a virtuosic showcase for the bassoon. Vivaldi's "La Pastorella" Concerto brings together the full compliment of musicians for a triumphant finale.
