The Chamber Music Society presents concerts in a number of venues in the Lincoln Center area.

Alice Tully Hall

Alice Tully Hall has reopened, and it is a spectacular success. You can learn more about the hall by clicking here.

  • The seating configuration closely resembles the original layout, and maintains the comfortable legroom for which Alice Tully Hall was known. CMS uses a three-tiered price breakdown—prime, standard, and rear (the rear seats are not used for subscription).

One of the prized features of the new Alice Tully Hall is the flexibility it affords. Three different stage configurations are available. CMS will use the third stage extension, which means that the first six rows of the hall are removed, and the stage area extends out into the hall. The first available row when the third extension is used is Row G. Under this configuration, the capacity of the hall is 920.

  • The box office is located at the north end of the lobby, and is open Monday – Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM and Sunday, 12 PM – 6 PM. Additionally the box office will remain open half an hour after a performance begins.
  • Alice Tully Hall is now fully accessible. Seating that is wheelchair-accessible is now available throughout the hall, and all areas of the hall…from row A in the Orchestra to the upper-level Green Room… can be accessed.

Chamber music concerts at Alice Tully Hall are fully accessible, and CMS welcomes music lovers of all abilities to its concerts.

  • at65 is a new on-site cafe, which is open to the public for drinks and pre-concert meals. It is in the grand foyer of the new Alice Tully Hall.

Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center

  • 129 West 67th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam
  • Seats 455 in orchestra and balcony seats

Just off the campus of Lincoln Center is Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center. While not technically a part of the campus, Merkin is the home of Meet the Music!, CMS’ family series. Its small size lets every child have an up close and personal experience at concerts.
