Each season, CMS offers concertgoers the chance to explore in depth a specific period in musical history through concerts, enlightening and entertaining lectures, open rehearsals, master classes, and more. The annual Winter Festival anchors the season, and provides a comprehensive opportunity to become immersed in the joys of musical discovery.

The 2007-08 Winter Festival offers an unprecedented opportunity to experience American chamber music in depth, from the Colonial period to the present. In four programs, CMS delves into two-and-a-half centuries of our nation’s musical history.
