Responding to overwhelming popular demand, CMS revisits the unique sonic world of multiple pianos played by numerous hands. Five virtuoso pianists combine their distinctly individual pianistic personalities for music of overwhelming beauty, orchestral sonority, and dazzling complexity.

* Additional opportunities to hear works for Piano, Four Hands are sprinkled throughout the season: Opening Night on Wednesday, September 23 includes Schubert's Allegro in A minor; hear selected Brahms' Hungarian Dances on Sunday, October 18; another Schubert masterpiece, the Fantasie in F minor, is on display on Friday, November 6.
* Maurice Ravel's stunning La Valse closes this program. We present an entire program of Ravel's music on Sunday, April 18.
