About This Performance

Drawing inspiration from Bright Sheng's multi-hued musical palette, one of the most eclectic programs of the season gathers chamber music from four rich cultures. Pianist Inon Barnatan and cellist Alisa Weilerstein return to CMS for a premiere by Sheng. Enchanting French works from two eras, Martinu's virtuosic "Madrigals," and Arensky's passionate Piano Trio, complete the journey.
