The new Alice Tully Hall has received rave reviews, so act now to claim your tickets there for 2010-11. This season CMS explores the idea of musical inheritance from one generation of composers to the next – from Bach through to Bartok and beyond.

Single tickets won’t go on sale till August 2, so order a subscription today to guarantee your seats for the concerts you want to hear, and to enjoy a variety of subscriber-only benefits, such as savings, priority seating, and flexibility.

OVERVIEW OF SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGES

Make Your Own series – maximum flexibility with minimum hassle! Choose three, four, five, six, or more concerts that suit your schedule and your tastes. And in doing so, you save money over the price of single tickets, and guarantee your seat at the concerts you want to hear! Select a Make Your Own series.

Chamber Collections provide a variety of thoughtfully conceived packages, assembled on specific days of the week or by specific themes:

  • Series by day of the week: Choose from packages on Sunday afternoons, Tuesday evenings, or Friday evenings. Ranging from four- to eight-concert packages, this option makes scheduling your concerts easy. Select a series priced at either Prime or Standard Seating .
  • Baroque Festival: Love Baroque music? Then subscribe to this package that includes the annual presentation of Bach’s Complete Brandenburg Concertos. Select Prime Seating or Standard Seating.
  • Winter Festival – Manifest Legacy: Playing on the season theme of inheritance this season’s Winter Festival reveals how courageously Brahms received the mantle of Beethoven, pairing striking parallels in their repertoire. Select Prime Seating or Standard Seating


When you’ve chosen your concert series, make it an even deeper and more satisfying encounter by adding a lecture series.

Inside Chamber Music with Bruce Adolphe, CMS Resident Lecturer and Director of Family Programs, explores the music of Bach in the fall, and Brahms in the winter/spring session. Subscribe to all eight lectures, or choose just four Bach or four Brahms lectures.

Kids are always welcome at CMS! Choose our family series Meet the Music!, offered on Sundays at 1 PM (Prime, or Standard) and 3 PM (Prime, or Standard), and discover a welcoming environment for kids to experience the joys of concert-going!
