Inside Chamber Music Lecture Series

Revealing the mysteries of great music is an art in itself – requiring knowledge, imagination, a poetic sensibility – not to mention whimsy and humor.

Composer and author Bruce Adolphe is a true master of this art. With a unique blend of insight and scholarship, Bruce always finds uncanny ways to enlighten and inform through his Inside Chamber Music lectures.

The music to be discussed is drawn from the season’s repertoire.

2010-2011 Season: Over the course of the season, Bruce will take you on an in-depth exploration of Bach’s counterpoint and Brahms’ creative genius.

Fall Season:

  • On September 29, selections from Bach’s The Well-Tempered Clavier, BWV 846-893 are the focus.
