CMS Two Auditions for Individual Artists

PLEASE NOTE—

Former CMS Two members continue to make worldwide news:

  • The December 2007 issue of Chamber Music Magazine focuses on the Pacifica (03-05) and Miro (01-03) quartets, among others, in its article on quartets who hold university positions. The November issue of Strings magazine runs a similar story.
  • Cellist Alisa Weilerstein’s (00-02) London recital is reviewed in the October 2007 issue of the Strad. Strings magazine from November 2007 writes about her performance in this past season’s Mostly Mozart festival.
  • Inaugural CMS Two class member Hilary Hahn (96-98), violin, gave a special performance for Pope Benedict XVI, as described in the December Strings.

The CMS Two program has a long and distinguished record of identifying outstanding talent, and providing career-changing opportunities. A scanning of the roster of present and past members yields a “who’s who” among chamber music’s most notable performers and advocates.
