Final DG Concerts Release of the Season
CMS has been the place for memorable concerts for many years. One of the most unforgettable in recent years—evidenced by the misty-eyed audience leaving the auditorium—was “The Pressler Connection” performed on March 16 and 18, 2008. National treasure pianist Menahem Pressler was joined by violinists Erin Keefe and Arnaud Sussmann, violist Beth Guterman, cellist Gary Hoffman, and double bassist Daxun Zhang in three chamber music evergreens, including Schubert’s “Trout” quintet.
Many, many audience members wistfully remarked that they wished they could relive this concert.
