Thunderous applause and shouts of “Bravo” followed the closing notes of Rachmaninov’s Suite No. 2 in C minor for Two Pianos, Op. 17, the final piece on the final concert of CMS’ 2007-08 season. As performed by pianists Inon Barnatan and Gilles Vonsattel, the final movement left listeners screaming in awe. We’re still hearing from audience members who continue to rave about the performance!
