A diverse cast of CMS musicians is joined by the notable violinist James Ehnes, in his CMS debut, for three masterworks by powerhouse composers, concluding with Brahms’s Sextet No. 1—a piece that exempli‰fies the composer's remarkable ability to create rich sonorities within highly contrapuntal texture.
