Michael Parloff kicks off the Society's Shostakovich Cycle with a lecture about Shostakovich's life and works.
Additional Shostakovich Lectures will take place one hour prior to each Shostakovich Cycle concert:
March 17, 2013, 4:00 PM, Quartets 1, 5, 6, 12
March 19, 2013, 6:30 PM, Quartets 4, 8, 10, 11
March 22, 2013, 6:30 PM, Quartets 3, 7, 13, 14
March 24, 2013, 4:00 PM, Quartets 2, 9, 15
All lectures take place in the Rose Studio, free for Shostakovich Cycle ticket holders. Seating is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
