Britten at 100

The music of Benjamin Britten—enchanting, profound, and engaging—is offered by CMS as a centenary tribute to the greatest English composer of the 20th century. A fascinating program of Britten classics and novelties culminates in the 1961 Cello Sonata composed for his close friend and collaborator Mstislav Rostropovich.
