On Wednesday, May 9th, CMS Board Member Helen Brown Levine graciously hosted a concert in her home for CMS Board members and Patrons. The artists, who performed works by Debussy and Schumann, were pianist Juho Pohjonen, violinist Bella Hristova, and cellist Andreas Brantelid.

On Sunday, May 6th, the Chamber Music Society hosted a reception in the Hauser Patron Salon following the Inspired by the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio concert at Alice Tully Hall. CMS Patrons and Board members toasted the evening’s artists: the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, violinist Bella Hristova, violists Beth Guterman and Paul Neubauer and cellist Gary Hoffman. The program featured works by Mozart, Schoenberg and the world premiere of Andre Previn’s Piano Trio No. 2.

On Friday, April 20th, the Chamber Music Society hosted a reception in the Hauser Patron Salon following the An Evening with Fleisher & Kalish concert at Alice Tully Hall. CMS Patrons and Board members toasted the evening’s artists: Leon Fleisher, Gilbert Kalish, Ani Kavafian, Yura Lee, Mark Holloway and Nicolas Alstaedt. The program featured works by Schubert, Harbison, Bach and Korngold.

On Wednesday, March 16, 2011 the Chamber Music Society celebrated the change of season with Spring Gala, a benefit fundraiser held at the elegant Four Seasons Restaurant. Festivities included a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and concert performance by the Emerson String Quartet and Wu Han. CMS Vice Chairman James P. O’Shaughnessy received the Award for Corporate Citizenship and Board Member Peter Duchin received the Award for Artistic Excellence.
