Friends of the Chamber Music Society
CMS Friends play a vital role in the ongoing success of the Chamber Music Society by making annual contributions between $100 and $1,499 in one of four different giving categories. We want to be sure that your experience as a CMS Friend is rich and rewarding. In return for your generosity, you will receive many benefits and special privileges designed to bring you closer to the music you love, including invitations to Open Rehearsals, discounts and special ticket offers. The membership categories and benefits of giving through the Friends Program are detailed below.
Friends Membership Levels and Benefits
Adagio
$100+ (fully tax-deductible)
- The opportunity to attend your choice of two Open Rehearsals in the Rose Studio, open only to CMS donors, followed by receptions with the artists
- Discounts on CMS Merchandise: Present your Friends Membership Card to receive a 10% discount on all recordings and books available from CMS
- Access to the exclusive Friends Phone Line at the CMS Membership Office for priority service and assistance
- A subscription to the CMS e-newsletter
- Special Ticket Offers for select CMS concerts throughout the season
- Recognition in the CMS Playbill once a year as a Friend at the Adagio level
Andante
$300+ ($270 tax-deductible)
All Adagio privileges, plus:
- The opportunity to attend a total of four Open Rehearsals in the Rose Studio, open only to CMS donors, followed by receptions with the artists
- Two complimentary tickets to a Inside Chamber Music lecture, upon request
- Recognition in the CMS Playbill once a year as a Friend at the Andante level
Allegro
$600+ ($540 tax-deductible)
All Adagio and Andante privileges, plus:
- Two complimentary tickets to a Meet the Music! family concert, upon request
- An invitation for two to the Season Preview with Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han. Hear their plans for the 2010–11 Season at a private presentation and reception prior to the public announcement
- Discount Parking Vouchers for the Lincoln Center Park and Lock garage
- Recognition in the CMS Playbill for the entire season as a Friend at the Allegro level
Presto
$1,000+ ($863 tax-deductible)
All Adagio, Andante, and Allegro privileges, plus:
A special CD recording selected by the Chamber Music Society’s Artistic Directors
A complimentary invitation for two to the annual Brandenburg Holiday Party. Join CMS artists, Board, and Patrons for this festive event following our performance of J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos
An invitation to join our Patrons for a Post-Concert Reception in the Hauser Patron Salon with CMS artists
- Two complimentary tickets to a Rose Studio Concert, upon request
- Recognition in the CMS Annual Report and Playbill for the entire season as a Friend at the Presto level
