Drew University

CMS’s partnership with Drew University began in 2006 and entered a new chapter in 2022 when CMS launched a self-presented concert series at the Concert Hall at Drew University. Through this residency, CMS brings its world-renowned roster of chamber musicians to Madison, New Jersey—Co-Artistic Director David Finckel’s hometown—deepening the organization’s connection to the community where he grew up. The three-concert annual series offers programs designed to engage both longtime chamber music listeners and those new to the art form.

Presented in the 433-seat Concert Hall, recognized for its exceptional acoustics and world-class design, the residency exemplifies how CMS works in close partnership with presenters to build meaningful, long-term artistic relationships within their communities.

Beginning in the 2026–27 season, the series will increase to four concerts.
