Harris Theater for Music and Dance

CMS’s relationship with the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Chicago began in 2012 and has grown into a multi-performance annual residency connecting CMS’s world-class artists with a large metropolitan audience. Located at Millennium Park in the heart of downtown Chicago, the Harris Theater serves as one of the city’s primary homes for music and dance and supports an array of resident and presenting organizations, with CMS’s four-concert season constituting one of the hall’s core classical music offerings.

Presented as part of the Theater’s Chamber Music Series, CMS brings a wide range of repertoire to Harris' audiences each season, including its annual presentation of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos—a festive tradition that draws large and enthusiastic audiences. The residency aligns with the Harris Theater’s mission to bring national and international artistry to Chicago and has strengthened CMS’s sustained presence in the Midwest for more than a decade.
