Wolf Trap for the Performing Arts

CMS’s relationship with Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts began in 2020 and has grown into a recurring residency at The Barns, Wolf Trap’s home for chamber music. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to artistic excellence, education, and long-term audience engagement. Each season, Wolf Trap presents four CMS concert programs as part of its year-round Chamber Music at The Barns series, bringing artists from the CMS roster to audiences in the mid-Atlantic region.

Over the course of the residency, CMS and Wolf Trap have built this series into a consistently full house, presenting concerts in a setting especially well suited to chamber music. The residency complements Wolf Trap’s broader artistic ecosystem, including opera and educational programs, and strengthens CMS’s sustained connection to one of the metro Washington DC area's most significant cultural institutions.
