We are thrilled to announce the 2018-2019 season.
Highlights include: Russian Panorama, four concerts exploring a country whose tumultuous political history has been the fertile soil for the creation of some of the world’s most exciting and deeply felt music; Haydn’s profoundly moving Seven Last Words; two consecutive programs celebrating George Crumb's 90th year; a concert exploring the far-reaching musical and literary legacy of the French violin virtuoso Rodolphe Kreutzer; the Emerson String Quartet joins pianist Shai Wosner for a piano quintet by William Bolcom; Death and the Maiden, uniting Schubert at his greatest with Rachmaninov and Mussorgsky in a dramatic exploration of human mortality; Schubert’s beloved “Trout” Quintet; the annual Baroque Festival; and a sublime all-Mozart program.
