Program Change - April 8, 2018

Dear Audience Member,

We are writing with some unfortunate news—pianist Joseph Kalichstein recently broke his arm. Thankfully he is on track to make a full recovery and will be performing again soon, however the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio will be unable to perform this Sunday’s concert.

Upon hearing this news, we reached out to a few of our esteemed colleagues—violinist Aaron Boyd, violist Paul Neubauer, and flutist Tara Helen O’Connor—and they graciously agreed to join the two of us for a blockbuster program.

The new repertoire for Sunday will be as follows:

Dohnányi Serenade in C major for Violin, Viola, and Cello, Op. 10 (1902)
Beethoven Serenade in D major for Flute, Violin, and Viola, Op. 25 (1801)
Brahms Quartet No. 1 in G minor for Piano, Violin, Viola, and Cello, Op. 25 (1860-61)

Wu Han, piano; Aaron Boyd, violin; Paul Neubauer, viola; David Finckel, cello; Tara Helen O’Connor, flute

We apologize that you will not hear the program intended for Sunday, but cannot wait for you to join us for this wonderful concert featuring some of our favorite works.

Best wishes,

David Finckel and Wu Han
