CMS Returns to Asia for Five-City Tour

The Chamber Music Society returns to Asia for a tour extending from October 23 through November 3, 2024, featuring eight concerts in five cities as well as master classes for conservatory students. The traveling ensemble is led by cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han, co-Artistic Directors of CMS, who are joined by five stellar artists from CMS’s international and intergenerational roster of preeminent chamber musicians: violinist Lun Li, violinist and violist Arnaud Sussman, violist Matthew Lipman, cellist Sihao He, and flautist Tara Helen O’Connor. The program includes masterpieces by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Suk, Mahler, and Schubert. The tour in Asia is part of CMS’s robust program of touring concerts and residencies, which brings world-class classical musicians and major works of chamber music to cities and towns throughout North America and beyond.
