Brahms Trio in B major for Piano, Violin, and Cello, Op. 8
{{ vm.promoDetails.title }}
Ever critical and always a perfectionist, Brahms at the age of 55 took the opportunity to revise this piano trio, originally composed when he was 20 years old. What remains is the passion and energy of youth tempered by the wisdom and experience of age. But at both stages, the music was fully recognizable as Brahms.
This Inside Chamber Music lecture features a work from Landmark Trios on November 14, 2023.
Each lecture is supported by live performance excerpts from the featured work.
