Celebrating Joseph Kalichstein and the KLR Trio
{{ vm.promoDetails.title }}
With the passing of Joseph Kalichstein in March 2022, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, one of history’s greatest chamber ensembles, lost its founding pianist of 45 years. The contribution of this esteemed ensemble to the art of the piano trio is inestimable, and the trio’s impact – as individuals as well – on generations of musicians has definitively guided the genre forward. CMS is honored to celebrate the KLR Trio and its late, beloved pianist, in a tribute concert featuring violinist Jaime Laredo, cellist Sharon Robinson, and close friends and colleagues of the trio and its members.
