Did you know instruments have families? Follow along as we explore the sounds from three families of instruments: strings, keyboards, and brass! What makes a French Horn sound the way it does? What makes the piano and the violin sound the way they do? We'll get to know these instruments in this fun, interactive program including a work by Johannes Brahms for all three!

Relaxed performances in the Rose Studio and online, curated for ages 3-6.

Featuring host Rami Vamos and CMS Artists, each CMS Kids program is an inclusive concert experience adapted for neurodiverse audiences, including children with autism or other special needs. These performances are presented in a judgment-free environment, and are less formal and more supportive of sensory, communication, movement, and learning needs. This season, we explore the theme of identity through the music of Antonin Dvořák!
