The revered American violinist Pamela Frank makes a long- awaited return to our stage, in the company of two close colleagues, to perform one of the most unique concerts ever presented by CMS. From Bohemia, Belgium, Hungary, and Russia comes an astounding collection of string trios for two violins and viola, a novel ensemble revealed by this program to be a goldmine of sonorities, dialogue, and visceral excitement.
