Paul Everett, a music historian, editor and university teacher based in Ireland, is a specialist in Baroque music. He is well known for his research on early 18th-century manuscripts, particularly Vivaldi sources, on which he has published numerous writings. From the 1980s he was one of the editors for the New Critical Edition of Vivaldi's works and is the author of Vivaldi: The Four Seasons and Other Concertos, Op. 8 (Cambridge University Press, 1996).
