Paul Griffiths was born in Wales in 1947 and has worked as a music critic for newspapers and magazines in London and New York. He is also the author of books on western classical music (A Concise History of Western Music, Modern Music and After) and novels (let me tell you/let me go on, Mr. Beethoven).
