Future Faces of Chamber Music on Stage at CMS

For 39 seasons, the Young Musicians Concert has inspired students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to include the study of chamber music in the musical life of school music departments. Affectionately called our “pep rally for chamber music,” ensembles in grades 9–12 were selected to perform on May 4th at Alice Tully Hall on the Lincoln Center campus, as well as receive coaching by CMS artists.

Then, on Thursday, May 18th, students in grades 6–8 from across the tri-state area showcased their skills on stage in the Rose Studio at CMS, in the 26th Annual Young Ensembles Concert. Students also received chamber music coaching from CMS artists.
