Beethoven’s groundbreaking C-minor Piano Trio kicks off a rousing evening alongside early pieces by two later composers: Johannes Brahms, whose G-minor Piano Quartet brims with youthful and expressive energy, and John Corigliano, who wrote a captivating work inspired by a rich and imaginative poem by Dylan Thomas.
