Ellen Exner

Dr. Ellen Exner specializes in baroque music, particularly that written by the Bach family. She received her Ph.D. in Historical Musicology from Harvard University where she studied with Christoph Wolff. Having previously served as Vice President of the American Bach Society, Exner currently serves on its Advisory Board, as well as on the Editorial Board of BACH: Journal of the Riemenschneider Bach Institute. She teaches music history at The Juilliard School.
