An Update on the 20/21 Season

As the COVID-19 situation continues to limit our ability to gather safely together, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the first half of our 20/21 Lincoln Center season. Concerts scheduled between October 13 and December 18 will be rescheduled into the 21/22 season along with the spring concerts postponed over the past several months.

While we are deeply saddened that we will be unable to perform for you this autumn, we know that this is a necessary decision to keep you, our artists, audiences, staff, and community healthy during this challenging time.

If you have not yet renewed for 20/21, we will be in touch again later in the fall with an update about how to purchase revised subscription packaging for the remaining 20/21 spring concerts (and for those of you with rollover subscriptions we will continue to hold your seat locations for you). If you’re interested in purchasing single tickets to the season, we will likewise be in touch in the coming months as the COVID-19 situation continues to develop.

If you have subscribed to the 20/21 season, you have several options for the cancelled concerts:

First, you can donate the value of your fall 2020 tickets to support our musicians and digital programming. Many of you have already donated your 19/20 concerts and we thank you for your generosity and ongoing support of CMS, our digital programming, and our artists whom we will be compensating for postponed concerts during these uncertain and challenging times.

DONATE YOUR TICKETS TO CMS

Second, you may freeze the value of your fall 2020 tickets in your account for use later on in the 20/21 season or in the 21/22 season.

And third, you may refund the value of your fall 2020 tickets.

To freeze or refund your tickets, please contact our Customer Service team at 212-875-5788 or info@chambermusicsociety.org. Our team is working from home so response times may be delayed.

Keep your front row seat all summer long!
We strive to continue to bring you the very best in chamber music. We have been inspired by your enthusiasm for our at-home concert series, Front Row, and as a result, we are delighted to announce that we will continue to offer weekly concerts through the summer with Front Row: Summer Evenings, from Sunday, July 12 through Sunday, August 16. Explore the full line up here. Summer Evenings concerts have traditionally presented music that breathes the pleasant airs of the season, and these concerts not only follow but enhance that idea with the inclusion of joyful works from the Baroque era to open every program. We hope to lift hearts, minds and spirits over the coming months with music that is truly restorative.

Looking ahead, we are currently crafting a digital fall season for at-home viewing that will be announced later this summer. We look forward to sharing a lineup that promises to uplift, inspire, and continue to push the boundaries of innovation in digital programming.

Again, we thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you online!
