CMS 40 & Under is the easiest way for music-lovers between the ages of 18 and 40 to experience great music for a great price. For only $20, you have access to two $20 tickets to most Alice Tully Hall performances at CMS, and if you're a current student with a valid student ID, your subscription is free.*
Reserving tickets is easy and fast. Within one business day of becoming a CMS 40 & Under subscriber, you'll be able to purchase your tickets online, by phone at 212-875-5788, or emailing info@ChamberMusicSociety.org. Other perks include:

Please note that 40 & Under pricing is not available for 10/26/25 Brahms and Dvořák; 12/7/25 Vivaldi's Four Seasons; 12/14/25 The Brandenburg Concertos; 1/25/26 Beethoven's "Archduke" Trio. CMS 40 & Under tickets are valid for Mainstage Alice Tully Hall performances only and are not valid for Rose Studio events. Additional tickets may be purchased at the subscriber rate of 15% off. Tickets are non-transferable.
FAQ
Do I need to provide proof of age when I order?
Yes. Proof of age can be a copy of your driver’s license, passport, student ID with birthdate, or any other presently valid ID that shows how old you are. If you are a renewing CMS 40 & Under member, you do not need to provide ID again.

Can I sit anywhere in the hall with my membership?
CMS 40 & Under tickets can only be used for Standard or Rear seating in Alice Tully Hall (Orchestra Rows S-Z, Balcony Rows A-D, Box C).
Can someone else use my CMS 40 & Under membership?
Tickets are not transferable, so you must be in attendance for your subscription seat. You can reserve one additional seat for each performance at the $20 ticket price, in case you’d like to bring a friend or family member to a performance. You can also reserve unlimited additional tickets with the 15% subscriber discount.
Does my membership expire?
You can reserve your seats for the current season only. Additional perks will lapse at the end of the season.
Once I reserve my seat, can I exchange it for another date if my plans change?
Yes, you can. You can exchange up to 24 hours prior to the performance to which you have tickets.
